THE POND 18 x 27 inches Oil on Canvas A Painting A Day SOLD SOLD SOLD OFF BLOG! So much rain and water, but I do believe we will have a break for a few days. HOPEFULLY we can get the yard mowed. We are still walking the dogs five times a day and they do not understand why they cannot get out and run! This painting was inspired by all the water and all the rain and the colors of summer with the rain. It is painted with a wide brush and COLOR COLOR COLOR! This is not my normal subject but sometimes we have to try new things. I spent an hour with Conni Togel on the phone yesterday as we bemoaned the fact that we needed a vacation together and wanted to find a good workshop. She has to wait until the kids are back at school and we have to work around her show schedule. Yesterday I picked up my printer.
