I cannot wait any longer to paint out where I have the studio set up. It is way too cold. This morning when I got up to put the dog out I was surprised with 8-10 inches of snow and it is still falling.  He refused to go outside. Last time Terry kept the back porch clear of snow. We went to bed last night with the news we would only see a dusting.  There is 8 inches deep or deeper on my deck outside.  Just wait a few minutes in Texas... and the weather changes.  Pictures tomorrow. This is true for life. Often we wait on times to change or things to change and we are wasting our precious time that holds infinite possibilities.   We

He had words from a poem he had written her and wanted specific colors and items through out the painting, including the ring on her finger. We had fun....and she loves it and she said YES when he asked her to marry him. He was 12 and she was 8ish when they met at church many years back. LADY C Horse Painting by Laurie Justus Pace 48 x 72 inches Mixed Media, Acrylic Glazing SOLD Commission Contact me for Commission work: Laurie In the midst of busy studio life I completed the layering on this commission painting. The size is 48 by 72 inches. (4 ft by 6 ft) I did a smaller one earlier this week to see how I liked working with the layers and glazing and it was definitely different. This particular piece does not have the music in the background, but has Lady Chatterly's Lover page by page. Personally I would have like a nude stretched across it, but this family has small children so it was best to be a horse theme. If you really look at it you see the "HEART" or the heART with in. Combine the check of the large horse on the right and follow the heart shaped into neckline and shoulder of the running horse. This was not planned at all, it happened as I worked and I saw it as I was glazing it during the final layers. That is one of God's inputs I a
