Those who are not in love with God will see only their own faces in it.” ― Rumi This is the second steps of a commissioned painting. I did up four sketches for the piece and he chose the three horses drinking. You can see how I began the piece with a mid dark blue and then began sketching the horses in place. The base is in acrylic and then the painting is in oil. Every painting I do has a 'joy' to it.  To enjoy this moment of painting opens up beautiful thoughts inside of me. I love this part of

All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding, find out what you already know, and you'll see the way to fly. ― Richard Bach When it begins, it begins!  The quotes on the painting are: “Your friends will know you better in the first minute you meet than your acquaintances will know you in a thousand years.”  ― Richard Bach “A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely
