Some of you know that my summer and early fall has been challenging for both Terry and I, as I experienced a chronic health issue flaring up that literally leaves me tired, unable to do much and eventually depressed. While I was wading through this flare up at the same time I continued to pray for so many others battling cancer, back problems requiring surgery, colon issues,  pneumonia, and even death. Illness surround us in this life. When we fall ill and weakness takes over, we have to remember that the illness does not rob us of our spiritual strength, only our physical strength. There is

Terry made me a target and I shot for quite a while this morning.  It was empowering and it was only a BB gun. You are empowered today with a shove in an active direction... say it loudly... I CAN, I CAN... . In your heart you know what you can do; you know what you need to do but you are waiting on something or someone to push you forward.  With God all things are possible.  If you believe and His Divine Grace resides in your heart, YOU CAN. Stop living up to the expectations you labeled yourself with over the years.  You

Laurie  © Laurie Justus Pace     Graphics One Design 2009 The Painting :  I need to take some better pictures as I shot this last night as I finished it.  The lighting was not good.  I love painting pears. There is something about giving character and color to each one. The Thought :  SORE.  Wii makes me sore when I over do it.  I started getting up earlier and I do 30-45 minutes of Wii fit now.  Then shower and then stumble achingly into the studio to start my day.  I puts me about an hour and a half behind from where I need to be when I take the daughter to school. I keep an image of good health in mind with trying to exercise more . I know it provides more energy once you re-coop from the workout...but I am tired now.  The good I am imagining will slowly become a reality as my fitness improves.  I can already tell a difference in flexibility when I am bending or reaching.
