Is it the power of the paint moving through the sky area, or is it the power of the horses running over the land below? For me it is the movement of color. There is a swatch of blue from the sky scooping down in the back side of an arch to the horses... below it picks up between the front legs of the leading horse swinging up on the left edge to the sky moving upward.  The red and yellow colors pop in on the right side edge midway up and travels between the back legs of the second horse... parallel on the ground and splitting up with dashes of red on the forehead of the second horse and on the back of the first horse. " 1 Timothy 1:15 Poppies The year was 2006 My colors went opposites and bloomed into these poppies.  I went through a painting period of painting a frame around things in 2007. I painted two of these but this was the first one and my favorite! Nine blooms in the pot and one on the counter. Not really planned, but i know you see the canvas was BLUE and I did the white inset frame that shows up almost all the way around.  Notice how the white/with blue... triangles into the flowers on the left.
