Sunday evening and I spent this afternoon pulling out 7 or 8 canvas that I will begin painting on tomorrow.  I will share as I can. I am going to pull my easel outside to the patio and paint out there. Will not be warm enough till 10 or so in the morning but we have a bit of summer hitting for the next 5-6 days and I want to be outside. This is a painting from a few years ago. I chose to post it because I loved the placement of shapes throughout the piece and the exchange and anticipation of colors woven through the composition. It is sold but I am gearing up for painting the rest of this week.  A generous person will prosper;  whoever refreshes others will be refreshed. Proverbs 11:25 Refreshed... it is supposed to be fall and we are definitely still bordering 90s.  Hoping for a break in the next week.  Still having to water our trees and flowers because of drought and we still have to watch being outside because of Air Quality Alerts.  Share a hug and a smile today if you can. It is powerful to pile the paint high as you knife it on the canvas. Been working today on the flatter 4 x 5 ft painting. Hopefully tomorrow I can share some photos! © Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Single Run Pony Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   This is one of the best expressions with my knife and thick paint piling high.   I say that because there is a before and after and I continue past where I was in this horse painting. You can see there is not any thing reaching out with colors except the movement of gold yellow on the top of the head into the neck. I love it when I see one with photos of before... NOPE... not done and the final painting above carrying through to add color.  Psalm 23:4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”   This morning I am going with my daughter and granddaughter to watch our second oldest grandson compete in swimming for special olympics.  Hubby will stay here as we have Ecosafe coming to deal with the ants in the yard....
