It never made the website, I had shared progress pieces on my blog back then and one of my clients said... it is mine. I want it. Whirlwind has to do with Elijah in the Bible. 2 Kings 2:11 "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind." Elijah was great prophet and you really need to read to story to grasp it. Some say it foreshadowed Christ's Ascension after his death. As I study this painting, I truly am motivated to paint. I need to order a new easel as I sold my large one three years ago just before my Mom fell sick. I had been using a smaller one and it just is not working well for me. I like painting larger and fell
