Usually after regular rain, the sun comes out and there is still moisture in the air and everything seems to glow and glisten. When I saw the shots of Asheville NC and the Artist's Studios under mud and water to the roofs ... my artist heart cannot even imagine. Many of us do not know the physical devastation of events like this. Living in Texas and at one time about an hour or so from the coast in Nacogdoches for 18 years, we weathered many storms but nothing with devastation that hit Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. We have friends in Tennessee but I have not heard if they were affected. It would be awesome if Artists across the United States could come together and do what they did for Hawaii, o...
