Morning from Texas!  This sweet painting lives at the home of the daughter of one of my oldest friends. I love her dearly for her strength and commitment to her family. She shared once with me that water gave her energy and peace, especially the ocean. I hope it continues to bring her peace. 

Enjoy this day my friends. I am snowed under and it has been difficult to make my way through this morning. I knew I should have walked this morning as I believe missing my 3-4 miles walk is never good!!

Be Strong and Courageous

Deut 31:6 This Stallion was painted back in 2010.  I am guessing it is oil by the visible layering strokes of my palette knife. The contrasts are precise and clear. The white cuts through the dark reds. The reds concentrate the motion and the shapes and everything moves counterclockwise. Temptation is calling me to paint.  Are there times recently you have needed strength and courage and felt defeated by other things before even facing the situation? Do you feel like you are going counter clockwise? Seems like life right now for many of us.
