As I write reflecting on the week, there was a forest fire across the lake from us on Friday afternoon and evening. It was contained by midnight and when we awoke on Saturday a steady rain drenched our county for many hours. My painting friend Ann Morgan was evacuated from her home on Friday evening and stayed here in Tall Tree with our neighbors.
