While searching through my archives this week, I unexpectedly rediscovered a horse painting from 2015.
What began as a simple search quickly became something more. Looking through the painting and its process photographs reminded me of the power of color, movement, and the artistic voice that has shaped much of my work over the past three decades.
Sometimes a painting is more than a painting. Sometimes it becomes a reminder of who we are and what still calls to us after years have passed.
As I consider new work and new directions in the studio, this rediscovery feels less like looking backward and more like the beginning of something ahead. On my blog I have three of the process photos. Really awesome to see them. They tell the story...
