“Yes: I am a dreamer. For a dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.” Oscar Wilde, The Critic as Artist
My double life as web designer and artist seem to be stretched to the limit right now. I love doing both but my journaling always seems to take too much time. Are you stretched to the limit? I am. So I know I am not wanding by moonlight... I am usually sleeping.
This week has had it's challenges with things arising almost every morning. Monday we missed breakfast. Oh Man.. my stomach was not happy. We always eat a big lunch dinner at two so here it was coming on 11 am and my body was in protest. Tuesday we gulped down our oatmeal trying to entice the two year old that join us for breakfast to a chair at the table. He turned he nose up at home made carrot cake. Go figure. But we got him to school on time. Later that day we had our youngest granddaughter, age 3, over for a picnic lunch on the back porch. Then the next day on Wednesday... we got up to a sick puppy. It was not pleasant what happened in her kennel that night and it smelled even worse that morning. So she is on rice and chicken for a few days. I told the vet I had not cooked meat/poultry or fish in my kitchen... we are whole foods plant based... and my stomach protested as I had to prepare her food yesterday. I obsessively cleaned the counters and the sink three times to safely rid it of the chicken.
So who knows what today will bring. I told Terry yesterday I felt fragmented. Pulled in too many directions. BUT I know 95% of the time that I stop and recognize that I have to give the day to God and allow him to lead me through it. SO, that is what is happening today!
Have a fabulous Thursday.
Matthew 21:9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
