You Will Never Be The Same Person . . . Laurie Pace Contemporary Horse Paintings

 This is the horse still moving through the storm. He is represented by the dark blues reflecting the darkness of the sky, wind and rain surrounding him. His white mane whips in the wind but the strength of his body and legs propels him forward after the other horses, trying to desperately make it through the storm.  

 I love the quote. "You won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm's all about."  Each day we wake up a bit different from the day before. Everything we have said the day before has set something in motion in someone's life. Everything we do in our actions is exactly the same. One hurtful word can cause years of therapy.  One hurtful action may cause a life of pain and distrust. On the other hand, when you bring love and sunshine into someone's life or day, you set positive things in action.  You are NOT the storm but you are the calm.  

 I really like the verse you read next.  You are in the calm safe zone if you are moving within the Lord's direction for you... until he wants to toughen you up some more.  I always call it my Plateau when I pray.  I pray for a resting place to regain my strength to go back out in the storm.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
