We walked down to the big lake to the sound of geese and ducks. I love seeing them paddle around in the glistening waters... reminds me of God's promise. He is with me through the waters that seem to overwhelm me as they sweep over me. My trust is in Him to protect us through all times. Read more here.

I loved it there. It did not love me! Mold was my downfall. I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas. God guides our path today. Memories are flooding in with the morning sun. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
