This painting is almost complete and soon  will be heading to Santa Fe to a new Gallery representing my work.  I will be sharing more in the next few weeks. Waiting for dry surfaces and pick up day by Art Delivery van is the 2nd of December. Then it will be on it's way to Santa Fe. How many horses can you see?

I have two more canvas sketched out and one already on the easel to start tomorrow morning.

The last day of Indian Summer here in Texas. Tomorrow the cooler weather will arrive. We will at least be in the fifties during the day and in the low forties at night. I am ready for it and perfectly timed with Thanksgiving.

Much to be thankful for with this special American holiday.  We are thankful every day for waking up and walking with the Lord. It will not be our entire family gathering as every other year people go different places and we are eager for Christmas to see every one.  My sweet hubby is actually making a "AT HOME TO EAT TURKEY."   He loves Thanksgiving foods and altho I eat whole foods plant based, he does 90 -95 percent of the time, but not at Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I have a goal this year. Last year was very stressful for me and I think I ate a little bit of everything.  Took me a month to lose those few pounds I gained between the Turkey Day and the Ham and Turkey Day.  As of now, I just finished battling birthday cookies that I splurged on in early November and also eating out, or should I say overeating while out celebrating with the family? Three weeks to lose about four pounds! Check!  I will probably just take my own plate of food on Thursday.

Colossians 3:15: "And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."
Blessings to you my friends!  Elle

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
