Contentment is not having everything we want. It is discovering the beauty of what God has already placed in our hands.

There are moments when life quietly reminds us that we already hold something beautiful in our hands.
When I painted Fleeting Moment, I wasn't thinking about contentment.
Years later, I see it differently.
She isn't searching for another flower.
She isn't looking toward tomorrow.
She is simply present.
Resting.
Content.
At peace.
In a world that encourages us to always want more, perhaps one of God's greatest gifts is teaching us to treasure what He has already given.
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."
— Exodus 14:14
