Some paintings seem to gather new meaning with time.
This week I revisited The Race, a palette knife painting created around 2008. Looking at it today, I no longer see horses simply racing across a landscape—I see movement, joy, and the different seasons we all travel through in life.
I also spent time beginning a small portrait, discovering once again that sometimes a painting has its own direction if we are willing to slow down and listen.
And today I brought back something that has always meant a great deal to me...
Painting It Forward.
