Where My Thoughts Wander...

Every morning begins with Scripture, prayer, and a new day waiting to unfold. Yet, like so many of us, I can find my thoughts drifting toward tomorrow's worries instead of today's blessings.

This week, a conversation with friends and a passage from an old devotional reminded me that God's answers often arrive quietly—not when we chase them, but while we faithfully live the day He has already given us.

Sometimes the greatest peace comes when we stop searching for all the answers and simply trust the next step.

I loved it there. It did not love me! Mold was my downfall. I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas. God guides our path today. Memories are flooding in with the morning sun. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
