Fair Flowers
Oil on Canvas SOLD by Laurie Pace
Today I am sharing Fair Flowers. I had a student by the last name of Fair… and we were working out the patterns of beginning a painting and the completion over the layers. After the first soft layers are in… you begin to develop the flowers and their placement. This was titled fair flowers because a woman with that last name came to paint with me on Saturday. We went through the process of how to develop a flower painting.
Do you have favorite blooms? I would love to know your go to flower! Blooms and color, seeding and growth and blooming are all apart of our beautiful world.
You can already tell it is almost done here… and it is very saturated with color interplaying together on the canvas with a brush and not a knife. I used an angular brush. For me it is an intense feeling of joy and movement as I work. Feel like a celebration for sure. Check out my website blog for more. Elle
