Thick Paint Sculpted into Horses

Thick Paint Sculpted into Horses

Colorful collision of brilliant contrasting colors of red, oranges, blues, whites, golds and more with three strong horses running across the canvas to the right side in a race by Laurie Pace

My newest painting, "Twelve-Legged Race in the Wind", is built with heavy palette knife work and bold, dimensional color. Rather than focusing on fine detail, I created the spirit of the horse through motion — interwoven forms suggesting unity, partnership, and forward momentum.

This piece reflects something many of us experience — balancing priorities while feeling pulled toward what calls us most. The studio has been calling strongly lately.
