OCT MORNING... cool as we woke up this morning at six. I found this painting in my archives and love the richness of the depth of colors playing their parts in the composition. I am spending more time at my job for Women Artists of The West than I am for painting and selling special ones like this on my website. 

Proverbs 4:5 Get wisdom; get insight; do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. 

Loved our LifeGroup this week. We are covering Chapters in Genesis.  We are in the midst of Jacob and Issac. I am using my Torah and Chumash with notes in it comparing things to our Christian versions! Have you ever read Liz Curtis Higg's books?  go to the Book... She has great fictional Biblical books... as well as great non fiction books.  I am finishing up the two books about the story of Ruth made into a fictional story based on the Biblical story. I recommend her writing.  The other favorite is on Jacob and Essau's situation in the Bible... it is really outstanding!  Have a great week my friends.  Elle

I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
