Another rainy  morning...and I love it but the rain is moving away after a single hour.  I know I have posted this painting before, - but I am catching up on my Website blog and will continue to tie them together.  You will find out more about my direction change ahead on today's post.  Just click the painting above and it will take you straight there!

I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...

Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Gathering... The Good People are Gathering. Figurative Palette Knife Painting by Texas Artist Laurie Pace
