Krysta, and She is Blessed!

Krysta.... Today she is a young mom of two and happily married! I have loved watching my students grow up  and have children of their own!  It is truly a beautiful time in life! I painted her one other time testing out watercolor surface and she was older... and it was fun!!




Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

We are studying the Beatitudes at Countryside Bible Church and Pastor Tom takes his time setting things up in his message for us to study throughout the week.  Using the Bible my Dad bought Terry and me back around 1994, the interpretation brought the first part home. 
BLESSED > HAPPINESS

"Blessed" is larger and greater than "Happiness".  Seems like we are always chasing HAPPY in our lives.  You hear people say, "I just need some happiness... I want to be happy.... why can I not just be happy?"   Why do we face trails continually? Why do we walk deeply in the shadow of death? Why are we depressed?  

It is time to feel blessed by what you do have and stop worrying about what you don't have. God will provide exactly what you need. ELLE

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
