Watering Hole Crested Butte

Watering Hole Crested Butte is a contemporary representational abstract horse painting. This definitely entices me to paint blindly like this and see what can be created again. I do have one in process right now but realized I need to let go further! 

Matthew 8:8, 13

The centurion answered, “Lord, I’m not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.” Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.



Was a restful night and for this morning's blog I was going to use something from scripture from early morning 5 am, because this morning I was in my morning Devotion from Daily Bible and here is an excerpt from it, but I encourage you to read the short devotion from the link provided with the whole story.

"He had a soft heart. He didn’t come to Jesus for his health or even for that of his family. He reached out for one of his servants. Instead of sending a messenger or a letter to Jesus, he took the time; he made an effort to come himself.

Jesus was so impressed with this humble, untrained heart, this non-Jewish citizen, who had likely never celebrated a holy day or sacrificed at the Jewish temple. 

The centurion came to Jesus with the faith of a child, knowing perhaps nothing more about this rabbi than that he cared for sick people."  


We all grow daily strengthening our faith, heart and mind with what is good and right as we learn to navigate the ever changing world.  Elle

A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
