Tiny Red Roses
Oil on Canvas  SOLD  by Laurie Pace

I have sweet tiny pink and red roses on large bushes out side my studio window.  When I am at the easel I just simply glance to my left to a large double window and a spread of roses bushes is up past the window sill.  This sweet painting was completed sometime between 2008 and 2010.

1 Corinthians 6:14 "And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power."

Short greeting to encourage you to turn to God this day and BELIEVE that He will raise us both up on the day His son returns. God is always with you. If your faith has cooled and your prayer life has dwindled, it is time for you to rekindle your relationship with God. He is working in your life, and even if your life is not inclusive of Him, He will continue to reach to you to return to Him. He loves you so. Since you were created in your mother's womb, He has been with you through your life, constantly and sometimes gently pulling you in to Him. Times are challenging. Our daily lives are tainted with too much media and TV. They suck many in to the call of the 'wild'. Pick up your Bible and read each day. Find an app on your phone you can trust to grow with.

Personally I use Daily Bible Inspirations.
Sent from Daily Bible Inspirations each morning there is a verse to wake up to and a small devotion you can listen to or read. Highly recommend it.

It has to head to Mirada Fine Art in about three or four weeks... meanwhile it will be banished to the room with the dehumidifier in it.  Stay tuned at Mirada Fine Art with Steve Sonnen for more details about what is happening to this "crowd" from my Good People Series.  In fact, drop Steve an email and ask to be added to the mailing list for this special gathering.  Good food, good friends and good art.   What more could you want? Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...

Arrival...Refrigerator?

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2024 Arrival Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the Lord whtever you do, and he will establish your plans."   Worrisome times laced with prayers.   The world seems like a scary place lately. Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
