Spirit of Fire
Oil on Canvas  SOLD  by Laurie Pace

Spirit of Fire is an intense early palette knife horse painting from about 2004 or 2005. I was in a gallery in New York at the time and the owner bought the painting to put in her gallery.  I am thinking it sold but not for sure as we became close friends and she accepted a lot of my work at that time. I personally love the mane on the horse and the detail involved.

Sunday and almost noon here. We are just back from Church and this is what we studied. Jonathan Anderson was our pastor this morning at Countryside Bible.

Colossians 2:6-8 "Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him; being rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith as you have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware, lest anyone spoil you through philosophy and empty deceit according to the traditions of man, according to the principles of the world and not according to Christ.

His sermon is on you-tube at Countryside Bible Church.  There is not disappointment here.  Jonathan delivers one that really touches the deepest parts of your heart and your mind. I will be watching it again later as I gather my notes up from church.  There is so much Hubby and I are taking in that affects our daily life and realizing even deeper our commitment to Christ Jesus.

Have a blessed Sunday.   Elle

Sunlit Bowl

© Laurie Pace        Graphics One Design 2025 Sunlit Bowl Oil on Canvas  SOLD   by Laurie Pace   A Painting of soft pink and white flowers   created in 2013 brings back memories of living at Lake Cypress Springs. I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. The mold pushed us back to DRY Dallas.  God guides our path today.  Memories are flooding in with the morning sun.  Proverbs 4:18    “ The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”  Today will be over 100 degrees but by Saturday the high is 79. Weather is the main talk these days. Remember I am in Texas.   We heard they may get snow in the Ohio River Valley. We are to see storms from the Pacific Hurricane coming our directio...
A Bit of Wonder Contemporary Horse Oil Daily Painting Art by Laurie Justus Pace 24 x 30 x 2 inches of thick buttery oils! Contact me to purchase: Laurie "This is the day that the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it". Psalm 118:24 It was a day of celebration yesterday as Lauren Gracen was born. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did. Terry was able to participate and he and Larry helped with pushing and getting Stacey upright for the process and then Terry was hon...
