What fun it was to paint this beauty... a bright and brilliant horse painting.  The horses in this abstract painting are literally racing on the green spring grass... each trying to out run the other. It makes me smile and giggle to watch them and enjoy the beauty of palette knife painting at its best. 

So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, 27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-28

Palm Sunday, it was a beautiful service at Countryside Bible Church this morning.  Our grandson joined us there and spent the day with us.  Treasure him always.  He is going on 28 this summer.  I remember him as a wee baby in my arms.  Yesterday we had the "Little" Grands here collecting eggs and getting huge baskets filled with candy. Most of it was YUMS brand, but there was some Dove and little Sweeties too!  We are savoring these times together every time we are blessed with them.

Pray for your family and friends and stay in the sight of the Lord. There is much happening world wide and I often worry and I should not. Leave it to the Lord God. He has a plan!

That poor little 8 x 10 pony was loved by a company to do very large prints and it was not here for me to even use to scan... so I created something with the same heart, a kindred spirit. The underlays are pages from a western book and then torn papers of different varieties were added along with stains of paint and purposeful areas of paint.  This would not be a painting I would do today, but the goal was to capture the spirit of the first painting. We lost another dear family member this week. She has celebrated her 'continuation' day and is now with her mom and dad and her other cousins.  She leaves behind a family that will always celebrate her gentleness.  My aunt was special to all of us. She loved each of us dearly for who we were and was always ready with a hug or a 'good job'.    My memories are of breakfast pastries smeared with butter on top. It was not like they were not sweet enough as they were, but at her small kitch...
