“The human race is a monotonous affair. Most people spend the greatest part of their time working in order to live, and what little freedom remains so fills them with fear that they seek out any and every means to be rid of it.” Johann Wolfgang Goethe
It has been a busy time the past week and I have not had time to post at all. Our dog, Annie, has been sick for four weeks. She finished up her championship just to come home with Paddy over the rainbow bridge and her very sick with Hook worms. The problem was they did not find them for four weeks. Absolutely unforgivable in so many ways. I could not even begin to describe what was coming out the back end of our precious dog, nor would I ever want to share the photos. So for the past week things have been really precarious here as she was finally diagnosis last Tuesday. This is Friday and we are seeing positive recovery in her personality and her appetite!
The painting above I was working on and have not decided to leave it simple as it is, or to mess it up with my palette knife. I am going to let it set in the studio on an easel and see how it feels. Meanwhile I put it up as it is painted right now at an affordable price is you love it as it is. Powerful with color and contrast, it is a beauty.
Ephesians 4:22-24 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
