Compromise in Progress

Been painting today.  This one is in cool colors as we have had cold nights and cold days the past week.  More rain and cold tomorrow too!  Getting ready for Black Friday and Cyber Monday and doing my best to have some new paintings ready... 

Will show the finished painting later next week. Hope this finds you preparing for the celebration of Thanksgiving.  I know we normally spend $100-125 a week on groceries and I was surprised to spend $274 this morning.  There are Pies involved among other things, like Rachel's Famous Sweet Potatoes, Grandmother's Cherry Pie, Grandmothers homemade Egg Noodles with lots of butter involved...oops and eggs, homemade cranberry relish, and a few other specials coming together. 

So for now, painting is taking up time as Mr Honey is taking Christmas down from the attic and checking all the lights before we even think about putting things up.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector. Simple and elegant for a horse painting.  Ephesians 5:1-2 "Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma."  One of the biggest challenges in walking with God is trusting Him and not trying to out think Him or to do everything your way.
