Our 'Golden Pond' is in east Texas. Some of the inhabitants were there almost year round and these three were my buddies! They are actually on the pond in the back yard between us and the lake. Terry and I spent hours walking around our cove and peninsula on the lake. We would always take a morning walk about seven and then again about five. We loved to sit outside every evening and watch the sunset.
"What am I to do? I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good work, therefore any kindness or any service I can render to any soul of man or animal, let me do it now. Let me not neglect or defer it, for I shall not pass this way again." An Old Quaker Saying
Matthew 10 :42 And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward."
