"Come clean with a child heart, Laugh as peaches in the summer wind. Let rain on a house roof be a song, Let the writing on your face be a smell of apple orchards on late June." Carl Sandburg, Honey and Salt
I know at my ripe old age of 64, I think more of wanting to just shake off all the worry and the work and remember my 'child heart'. Should we think more of stopping to listen to the wind or rain, and to run outside and play in it? If we were eight years old, what would we be doing this summer? Where are our child hearts?
Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."
