“Twilight fell: The sky turned to a light, dusky purple littered with tiny silver stars.” ― J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The color purple has always been a favorite in my home... in various shades of violet to the deepest of eggplant. Purple embodies the balance between the stimulation of warm red and cool blue. This can cause unrest or uneasiness for some people because it is not easily defined as cool or hot. In history the mystic of the color has royal qualities and is often loved by creative people and by young girls.

My Tidbit this morning: In Exodus you find the word purple in 26 different verses.
"The sash was made of finely twisted linen and blue, purple and scarlet yarn—the work of an embroiderer—as the LORD commanded Moses." Exodus 39:29
