“Just because you don't say much doesn't mean people don't notice you. It's actually the quiet ones who often draw the most attention. There's this constant whirlwind of motion and sound all around, and then there's the quiet one, the eye of the storm.” ― Amy Efaw, After
Painting for a show at Mirada. I am all over the studio and sketchbooks with ideas. I told him maybe one horse,... but you never know. So this one is three horses. The Calm after the Storm is in reference to the turmoil of last year and I am assuming the Presidential election. I am game no matter what. We all have storms in our lives and we walk through them gaining in strength and in vision. I chose three horses because it is the number that carries my heart. Biblically, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. For someone else it could symbolize other things.
Hopefully this might be the quiet one that captures a heart.
So the sketches begin . . .
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit," Matthew 28:19
