“It's like you said the other day," said Adam. "You grow up readin' about pirates and cowboys and spacemen and stuff, and jus' when you think the world's full of amazin' things, they tell you it's really all dead whales and chopped-down forests and nuclear waste hangin' about for millions of years. 'Snot worth growin' up for, if you ask my opinion.”
― Neil Gaiman, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch
Things are never as they seem. This is an old... wait for it... contour drawing watercolor added piece from 2004. A contour drawing is where you do not watch the paper, only the figure and you put your pencils down and draw usually without lifting it up and repositioning it. I use to be really good at it. So back to things are never as they seem... this was not a planned drawing into a watercolor but it just came together.
God has this wonderful ability to make the sweetest lemonade from the most sour lemons. Things that seem to be at their worst state, can suddenly be awesome. We simply get too stuck on what we think we want... and then HE gets in the mix and we truly get what He wants to give us... and wait... wow, what a gift. If you do have something to share, please comment and share when this has happened to you.
I would call it 'the seen' and 'the unseen'.
"It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation." Revelation 13:7
