Every painting starts the journey and the strokes bring me closer to the end of that expressive journey. I never know when I begin exactly where the painting will go as I am guided by spirit and intuition and knowledge of paint and color and composition. My personality plays into it, God is a major faction in the process, and then all the days of my life are vested into the painting.
Do you use all of this in your work? You are everything you have done in your life... the good, the bad and the ugly. But God makes beautiful things of us if we give Him the opportunity to work every day.
This is the second day of this paint back in 2012. The background colors begin to layer on and it is by the eye I decide the breaks in the background and the color changes. Stay tuned for more tomorrow!
