Each process of painting is a new amazement when I am working.  This week I will share the painting "Amazed". This view is pretty far into it. I have taken the music from a country song named "Amazed' and applied it to the canvas. Then I sketched on the horses and began layering in some acrylic to find the beginning heartbeat or spirit of this painting.

I have written endless times of how we are nothing but layers of experience in life...the same is true of my artwork.  Trial and error, wiping and building layering on the mistakes and continuing to follow the spirit through. You have watched me work over paintings a year later and turn them into something 180 degrees from where they were.   Watch me proceed with Amazed this week.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
