Just a thought to mull over today.  Sometimes I wonder how our generations are suppose to become strong and rounded with life and people.  Over the years the need to "ME"  "I" has surfaced and the ego needs to be protected.  We deserve everything... we deserve good things. Yet there seems to be a difference in how you approach deserving the good things.   Today children and adults want things NOW.  Instant gratification.   From my days growing up... you appreciate it more if you had to work or wait to receive it. 

So I do agree you deserve good things in life.  God does to.  But your sight and life must be on HIM first and not on those things.   He knows the desires of your heart, but do you know his heart?

Psalm 37:4 NIV
Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
