Preparation continues this second week of advent.  Our confidence that God is really there to save us begins to offer a peace to our heart and soul.   Most of our troubles we bring on ourselves and we grow weary and tired battling them...yet He waits for us to call to Him and He is ready to step in and set us free.  I think as this happens it encourages us further to put our trust and faith in Him in EVERY part of our life.  Invite him into places we have kept hidden in shame. 
Open up to share all your vulnerabilities. 
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

I loved it there. It did not love me!  Mold was my downfall.  I was prolific at painting there with my studio looking over the waters of a large catfish pond and Lake Cypress Springs. Stacey began her labor around nine in the morning and was ready to push by 12:15, but they held her off while getting things set up. Took four good contractions with multiple pushes and the baby was there! All grandparents accounted for to count the toes and fingers! My admiration is for my daughter and her bravery and calmness despite the tension and newness of what she faced. I was honored to be there as the baby was delivered seeing my granddaughter push out into the light and take her first breathe... and then cry... and that she did.
