“Anne always remembered the silvery, peaceful beauty and fragrant calm of that night. It was the last night before sorrow touched her life; and no life is ever quite the same again when once that cold, sanctifying touch has been laid upon it.”
― L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables
I was blessed to recontact someone I knew almost twenty years ago. Why did I search her out? In my sleepless nights of October when I wandered restlessly around the bed... I realized I was using a cross stitch pillow slip that was made by her just for me with beautiful red cardinals on it. I draw comfort from those precious birds.
I sent out an email to an old boss and his wife, wanting to also catch up with them, to find this special person. I sent a text message and it was so wonderful to catch up and find out she has married and life has been good.
You rarely know about those 'little things' you do or say and how long those tiny blessings affect people. Spread those tiny blessings... November should be Tiny Blessing Month!
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. James 1:17
