“I took her hand in mine, and we went out of the ruined place; and, as the morning mists had risen long ago when I first left the forge, so, the evening mists were rising now, and in all the broad expanse of tranquil light they showed to me, I saw no shadow of another parting from her.”
Tranquility perhaps a word not used as often but so important in the balance in our lives. It is a quality of state of being... calmness, peacefulness, quiet and serene. And when were you last 'tranquil'?
Connecting with God through nature is always the go to method for me. Anytime I feel bad or am frustrated, I can walk outside, breathe in the air, feel the breeze, smell the season and immediately be filled with tranquility. My mom has always believed in the electro magnetic feel of the earth on her feet. She believes she can 'right' herself by standing on the ground barefoot and feeling the earth. I know animals do it all the time, so why not humans? We seem to stay indoors on concrete, carpet and more... and never on the dirt or the earth itself, barefoot.
"Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me." Psalm 138:7
