The rain has continued to fall all over Texas. The lakes were down up to 24 ft, some even lower, and now all but I believe two in our area are full. OVER full. They have even opened some of the flood gates to release water from a nearby lake creating more flooding in our county. 

 We have all steadily prayed for the end of our drought. I do believe our prayers are answered and with extra rain still coming down.  

 I use to paint sunflowers all the time and this was a small one but the image seems really big to me. Most were painted from 2005-2007. I would entitled them with the highway number we were on when I took the photos.  This one was Hwy 114 running from Grapevine out to where we lived at the time in Justin, Texas. 

 May this sunflower bless your week with God's beauty. Take time to enjoy every breath, every flower, every smile... and make sure you share it forward.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
