This painting was incredible fun.  I found this small canvas with orange and pink on it while unpacking a box of small canvas. Immediately I began to move the surface with Indian Yellow and White... and using Mauve, I began to create a horse with my knife.  I love this little gem! Hope you do to. It needs a heart home to move to.

 When I do some of this little collectible, they are a pure reflection of the spirit of Love.  There are many types of love, love of family, love of friend, love of the sensual nature and the love of God.  I can tell which are woven into my pieces as I work. I feel that God's love is in all of them, but when I am working with multiple horses in a composition it almost feels like Love of friend.   Just knowing though, that God's love is the foundation of all I paint and the source from which I draw my strength and inspiration. God is apart of my life and my art. He empowers me.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
