Some how I missed posting this little beauty and was already past 66 and 67 I think.  Mr. Blue...inspired by a rescue Kerry Blue Dog we were called about. Not sure I can help get him placed anywhere, but it did inspire me to entitle this painting Mr. Blue.  

 I was challenged by a buyer of one of the other 8 x 8 pieces to do a horse in cobalt blues.   That is what triggered the blues in this contemporary horse painting. LOTS of cobalt blue, horizon blue, a touch of mauve, orange, napthal red, and itty bits of white.... and voila, Mr Blue was born.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
