This was one of my favorite nudes.  Just a quick share for the week.  Hope to be painting this week to post some new things.  Just finished up a larger wolf painting as well, so you will see that one soon.  This nude painting was created from simple pulls of paint both horizontal and vertical. Which came first, the drawing, or the paint? That is for you to figure out.   

 I feel almost paralyzed by world events...knowing I need to pray. So between breaths I am praying. It is hard to just 'go about' life knowing what is happening throughout the world. It is hard to paint with out seeing in my mind the destruction and the violations to innocent people.  Do not let the day pass without thinking of others and praying for those closely affected and for our government that cannot seem to grow up and get a grip.  

 Think back to the wars in Europe... the Spanish Civil War, WW I and WWII.  The artists that lived through these time in Europe and study the work that came from their soul and the events surrounding them. Here is one from Picasso. Art always tells a story.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
