Horse Paintings from my studio daily through out this summer. I am trying to focus on the joy of painting instead of the heat of summer, so now is the perfect time to collect a Pace Pony. This one was painted during an evening rain shower and everything was a foggy green outside with the mist. It sold right after I finished cleaning my brushes to a Texas collector. It will be her third painting of my 100 Horses of Summer 2012.




Joy is deer watching in our windows or yard. We live in a gated community and no one can bother these creatures.  We have only been here a bit over two years and are still amazed by their sudden appearance in our yard.  



But let all who take refuge in you be glad;

    let them ever sing for joy.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
