I believe I am almost done with this contemporary wolf painting. It is drying and will be touched up and varnished before it is shipped.  I am not sure what I will paint today. I need to crank up and paint more small things for give aways and begin to explore other areas.


Home is where your heart is. 

I have moved more than most people in the military. Not quite sure why, but with my gaining years the insight into the whys are now spelled out clearly. 

Ducks are at home where every they land... God provides.
As children we associate 'safety' with home. When Lady L has a fall or injury and she is not home, her bottom lip trembles and she says, "Go home N O W." Her need to be safe is wrapped up in the physical presence of home. 







"But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. I call out to the Lord, and he answers me from his holy mountain." Psalm 3:3-4

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
