This was a commission painting for a dear dear friend, Ann. Please read more about these special people that come into our lives below.
She wanted an Arabian and wanted to 'fall in love with it'. 
I hope I accomplished this as I used her favorite blues, greens and violets contrasting the background with golds and soft oranges.

Artist of Love

Sometimes in our walk we meet those special people.

You know immediately who they are when you are introduced.


My Mother was the first one I meet.


Then for sure my daughter's close friend Shannon.


Then I had a workshop this past year and I meet Ann.


At the workshop, every person that attended was special.  I felt blessed by every single artist.

When I say special people, I mean they don't just 'live' each day, they 'love' each day.  They give this love freely to every person they meet in their lifetime.  They rarely waste time on negativity and always look for the positive.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
