This equine painting was done in 2010 and it sold with in two weeks of completion.  I love the energy and the colors that explode behind the horse in the painting and the powerful strength in the horse.
When looking at it now I realize I want to paint it a again and tweak the neck area coming into the chest.  


I guess that is why artists revisit subjects to paint them again and try new things.

Colors of God

God is the light that surrounds me.







God is the love that enfolds me.

God is the power that protects me.

God is the Father whose presence watches over me day and night.






His artistic touch was present yesterday when I was visiting a my friend Ann at her country home. Her gardens were in late summer bloom with the continued Texas heat. Despite the drought the color was surrounding us just as His love surrounds us in the 'drought' times in our lives.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...

The Marsh... of our lives? Walking with God.

They both sold immediately to a Florida Collector.
