Inner Peace
Some how this morning my inner peace is a bit stressed. For some reason on my big Mac in the study, I cannot load images onto my blog. I can do it with my laptop, but there is no fun or gain in doing that everyday working off two computers. It will grow old. Why does it all work on the lap top and not on the big Mac?
The next thing that shakes my inner peace is my Mac Mail. talk about scrambled eggs. My new incoming mail appears in my trash mail on my mac. I have to watch both places now. This occurred this weekend after I cleaned out 15mb of email. Wish I knew but I do not.
After much searching on the Mac Forum I did receive some positive suggestions and I have gone back in and adjusted a few things... so I am praying for a fix this morning.
True Inner Peace will be restored by simple silence and reconnecting to God and his steady assurance. A good mantra would be "Be Still, and know that I am God." By disconnecting from the outside world, you gain strength for from the quiet of God's presence. Trusting in Him you realize instantly that the 'stuff' happening in the outside world is no longer important. What is important is trusting in Him brings peace to you. Aligning yourself with His higher power brings this inner peace.
Now I will also share I have joined the CLUB 47 challenge from Kimberly Conrad. She has committed to lose 47 pounds in 47 weeks and to sell 47 paintings for $47 and donate $4.70 to breast cancer research. My challenge for myself is 100 minutes of exercise a week for 10 weeks, try to loose my last 10 pounds in the next 10 months (remember I have taken off 18-20 lbs since last August), Donate 10% of the sales of my $125 paintings to Alzheimers Research. I will figure out a way in the blog on the side to monitor my progress. This may have to be a full artist CFAI project.
INNER PEACE....God will guide me through this as I begin this day.
