Memorial Day

This is still part of our first year without Ben's physical presence in our lives.  Spiritually we feel him daily in his beliefs and teachings that he gave this family.  

He served God first and foremost in his life.  He served his country both in the Air Force as well as in the Navy.    We love him and miss him and are grateful for his giving in our lives and his defending of the country he loved so much.  Our prayers today are for all those who serve in our armed forces depending our rights of freedom and liberty and to the thousands that have gone before them blazing trails for others to be free.

Arrival...Refrigerator?

Praying for everyone affected by the last two hurricanes.  My adventures today were the result of a dead refrigerator. I have loved my Kitchen Aid refrigerator very much. The first one in the 'French Kitchen' look died at 13 months. Hubby wanted the same refrigerator. Well this one made it four years and a few months. I cannot believe appliances are not made to last longer...but wait, is that because they make more money if we have to replace it in 4-5 years?  You replace your mattress at least every 7 years... and your washer dryer, you might get 7 years out of those... The stoves seem to make it closer to 10 years. We are Lowe's customers, and Robert ...
